One of our founding MPs, Robert Halfon, has argued for many years for "White Van Conservatism".
The Sun newspaper gave his campaign their strong support this weekend, by making him their "Hero of the Week", as you can see from the news-clipping above.
You can see their original article from their tweet, here:

Today in Parliament, Robert Halfon urged the Government to "come clean" about excessive fuel duty.
The petrol-price campaigner tabled a Private Members Bill - a new law - which if it gets passed will mean that all garage receipts will show the vast sums of fuel duty that are paid to the Government. PLUS, receipts would be changed to show the tiny amount of the Treasury's tax-haul that is spent on Britain's roads.
At present, these figures are INVISIBLE - a stealth tax - disguising the fact that fuel duty and VAT together make up MORE than 60% of pump prices.
Along with Robert Halfon MP, this is something that the FairFuelUK campaign have been working on as well. In fact, you can see a mock-up of an "ideal receipt" on their website HERE.
Finally, Mr Halfon also used his speech to urge the Government to scrap the 3p rise in fuel duty that is currently planned for January 2013. He spoke up for"White Van Conservatism", with "further cuts in fuel duty; certainly no more rises."
Robert's campaign is being supported by FairFuelUK, who have gathered over 15,000 signatures on a petition, and also the National Motorists Action Group.
Mr Halfon said:
"Less than one fifth of the money raised by motoring tax is actually spent on Britain's roads. Plus, at the moment, fuel duty is NOT shown on garage receipts. It is a stealth tax, and this is wrong. That's why I am calling for proper transparency on receipts, and also for the Government to scrap or delay the 3p rise that is planned for January - as they did before. Petrol is expensive enough as it is. I accept that - thanks to this Government - fuel is 10p cheaper than Labour planned. But we need to do much, much more."

Our next campaign using the Right Angle software is about to GO LIVE! Welcome to PetrolPromise.com - an independent campaign for cheaper petrol and diesel. We are asking the Government to cut fuel duty, and urging big energy firms to reduce prices at the pump.
Familes are now spending more on petrol than on food, research shows. High fuel prices aretrapping Brits in unemployment, and rip-off petrol and diesel prices are the number one issue in Britain today.
This issue has reached boiling point. Please get involved, and SIGN OUR PETITION, and ask your local MP to join the fight. You can also tell your friends about us, follow us on Twitter, and tell us your stories at @PetrolPromise
